6. 24/7 Studio Access & Conduct (Members)
Access credentials (keys, codes, or fobs) are personal and must not be shared. Members may not admit non-members or bring guests during unsupervised hours.
When using the studio alone, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety. Follow all posted equipment, kiln, and safety instructions.
Leave equipment clean and returned to its place after use.
Damage & cleaning: Members are responsible for any damage to studio tools, equipment, or the kiln (including kiln shelves marked by glaze runs) caused by improper use or negligence. This does not include normal firing outcomes covered in Section 8. Where damage occurs, you agree to pay the full cost of repair or replacement plus a 15% administration fee, and/or a cleaning charge, charged at cost. We may deduct these amounts from your membership deposit; where the cost exceeds the deposit, you remain liable for the balance. Any deposit used in this way must be topped back up within 14 days, or your membership access may be suspended. We'll provide evidence (photographs or CCTV) and an itemised cost before charging.
CCTV is in operation on the premises for the safety and security of members, staff, and property.

9. Kiln Hire
9. Kiln Hire
Hirers are responsible for their own work. Kiln hire covers kiln access only; storage, glazing, or finishing incur additional charges.
Work must be bone dry, made with approved materials, and finished so glaze does not contact the shelves.
Hirers are charged for damage to kiln equipment (e.g. shelves, stilts) caused by improper use — such as explosions or glaze melting onto surfaces — at full replacement cost plus a 15% administration fee.
We cannot guarantee firing outcomes, including cracking, glaze imperfections, or other firing-related damage; all work is fired at the client's risk.
